Don’t worry, it’s not as hard as you think as I’m here to help you make it yourself and maybe you’ll even make it again and again for functions, birthdays or other special occasions. All you have to do for the base is microwave margarine and mix in the crumbs before baking it at 335 degrees Celsius in a springform pan.

Now for the creamy cheese part of it…. A simple and easy task that is essential in making sure your cake doesn’t flop! All you do is blend cream cheese and the sugar well before throwing in eggs and vanilla essence.

Finally one of your last steps is to pour the mixture over the base and bake it for just over 10 minutes before baking it an extra thirty minutes(at a lower heat of course so we don’t burn it and our hard work produces a throwaway cake! ) before loosening it and cooling it and pouring some yummy cherry filling as a topping before enjoying this delicious cherry cheesecake.

Recipe for Cherry Cheesecake

Cook Time: 51 minutes
Additional Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 8 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Graham Cracker (made into Crumbs)
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Margarine, Melted
  • 24 oz Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 3/4 cups Sugar
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 1 can Cherry Pie Filling (21 oz)

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a medium-sized bowl in a microwave and mix in the Crumbs
  2. Press onto bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Bake at 325 degrees F. For around 12 minutes.
  4. Mix the cream cheese and sugar together, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until smooth and blended.
  5. Add eggs, one at a time mixing well after each addition.
  6. Blend in vanilla essence then precede to pour over crust.
  7. Bake at 450 degrees F. For around 12 minutes.
  8. Lessen temperature in the oven to around 250 degrees F. And bake for around 27 minutes or until set.
  9. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan.
  10. Chill. Top with pie filling just before serving.
